JANE Glowacz
FOUNDER & CEO
Jane Glowacz is the CEO and Founder of Outabout Oz. A qualified Mental Health Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the sector, Jane has dedicated her career to supporting individuals living with mental health challenges across a range of clinical and community settings.
Motivated by a deep desire to make a broader impact and give more back to the community, Jane established Outabout Oz to create inclusive, person-centred programs that empower individuals through connection, meaningful activity, and social participation. Her vision was to build a service that goes beyond traditional models—where people are supported not just clinically, but holistically, in a way that recognises their strengths, stories, and goals.
Jane brings a compassionate, values-driven leadership style to the organisation, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and genuine care. She is passionate about advocacy, recovery-focused practice, and creating spaces where people feel safe, heard, and supported to thrive.
Marcin Glowacz
Director, CFO, and Equipment Manager
Marcin is the Director, CFO, and Equipment Manager at Outabout Oz, working alongside his wife, Jane Glowacz, to bring their shared vision for community-focused mental health support to life. With a background in exercise physiology, he began his career after completing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, with a minor in Nutrition, at Edith Cowan University. Early on, he worked with the North Metropolitan Mental Health team while also offering personal training, combining physical health with a growing passion for mental wellbeing.
Over the next 15 years, he built a successful career as a structural and mechanical draftsman, developing strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. These now serve him well in the strategic and operational aspects of Outabout Oz, where he plays a vital role in managing logistics, equipment, vehicles, and infrastructure for events and programs.
Currently completing a Certificate IV in Mental Health, Marcin is driven by a deep compassion for others and a desire to empower individuals on their recovery journey. He enjoys listening to people’s stories, connecting through shared experiences, and advocating for those who often go unheard. Whether it’s around a campfire or in the day-to-day running of the organisation, he brings warmth, reliability, and a steady hand to the Outabout Oz team.

She is calm and has a naturally intuitive nature. She visits our participants in their home and excitedly comes along to our group respite events.
Within sessions, Kiko supports:
- Emotional regulation and co-regulation
- Reduction of anxiety and stress responses

- Confidence building and engagement
While Kiko is an integral part of our professional services, she is also very much ours — raised in a nurturing, structured environment that prioritises her wellbeing, training, and suitability for therapy work.
