OutAbout Oz’s Monthly Adventure Programs are more than just a break they’re a chance for NDIS participants to step outside the everyday, discover new environments, and build life skills through fun, safe, and supported experiences.

Every month, we offer group getaways designed to boost independence, social confidence, and personal growth all while giving carers trusted time to rest.

Adventure Program FAQ

What kinds of adventures are included?

Adventures may include beach trips, bushwalking, nature-based activities, and creative workshops. Each month is different and always tailored to the group’s interests and abilities.

Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. All activities are risk-assessed, and support staff are trained in first aid, behaviour support, and working with participants of all abilities.

No problem! We guide participants and families step-by-step through the process. We also offer pre-trip calls to ease any nerves.

Yes. you can opt-in monthly depending on availability, or reserve multiple trips in advance. Spaces are limited to keep groups small and supportive.

In most cases, yes. Our Adventure Respites can be funded under Core Supports (Assistance with Daily Life) or Short-Term Accommodation (STA). We can help you check your plan or talk to your Support Coordinator.
