Nothing brings us more joy than being in a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels heard, is encouraged and feels like they belong. This is the environment we strive to create for participants with additional physical and psychosocial needs on our respites. With a diverse variety of activities and experiences for all abilities, our respites provide opportunities of a lifetime to connect with others, explore our beautiful state, face fears and personal challenges alongside support workers.

"I liked the way I was accepted with my mental health issues and I was not made to do anything I didn't want to. I did what I wanted to participate in at my own leisure. They are all friendly people in OutAbout. As soon as I was happy I was freed from the mental health issues that concern me. Towards the end I did not want to go back home

I got to meet new people as well who were all nice to me and enjoyed my company as I did theirs."

"A big shout out to OutAbout! My son Reece joined this amazing club and has truly changed his life. He has been to Busselton and Lancelin for short trips away for the first time without both parents. He enjoyed every minute of it and Jane made me feel so at ease letting him go. Now there is no stopping him. Thank You guys for this fantastic opportunity for Reece; he loves you guys so much."

"I have so much fun with my time away with OutAbout. I am made to feel special and part of a family. We experienced lots of activities that I wouldn't normally do. It has been life-changing. Thank You OutAbout for giving me this opportunity. I can't wait to go away with you again."

"It was wonderful to do some 'normal' things & bring back good memories of pre wheelchair times...
The whole time having someone there who actually cares that I'm OK & comfortable, & putting my wheelchair in and out of the vehicles continuously & wheeling me around always with a smile made me feel so welcome & included."
